We initially tried to dine at Maison Publique McLean, but a friendly staff member let us know that their kitchen had closed and kindly directed us to their sister property, McLean Pub, just a few blocks away. When we arrived at McLean Pub, the place was packed due to a UFC night. Despite the crowd, we mentioned to the doorman that we were sent over from Maison McLean, and he graciously made an exception, finding us a spot. He did warn us about the noise and the fact that the kitchen was about to close soon, but we decided to stay. The service was impressively fast and efficient, especially given how busy they were. On top of that, the food was fantastic. I have to say, they serve the best buffalo wings I’ve ever had! The whole vibe of the place was fun and lively, adding to the overall great experience. Highly recommend McLean Pub for anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a unique, energetic atmosphere.

Came for the food, stayed for the vibes! The bacon poutine? Next level amazing. We tried the butter chicken pizza too--sounds wild, tastes awesome. Kudos to Angie the bartender--super friendly, made us feel like regulars, and had some top-tier drink and food recs. Also... Kilkenny on tap. I'm obsessed. Pretty sure I could take down a whole keg solo (don't test me). Awesome spot, killer service, and just a good time all around. Can't wait to come back!

Best Irish pub in Montreal. Had the honour to visit this lovely gem of a pub in the middle of January this year. Wonderful staff and a really cosy bar with welcoming regulars. A special shout out to the bar lady Kristy who made you feel like a regular the moment you sat down on the barstool!

I was in Montreal for a day and stopped in at McLean’s for an early lunch. It was a weekday and I was the first patron. Warmly greeted by the gal behind the bar. Ordered the bacon poutine (DEFO!!) and 911 wings. A definite do over, would highly recommend!
